I finally spoke to my doctor and of course like anyone would expect he wasnt too pleased with the idea of me going back to Msia for delivery. But i managed to “sapu kaya and butter” and i think it should be alrite provided my i maintain my current condition. Of course going back home to Msia never comes cheap…its one thing to fly from one airport and land straigt at the doorstep…but with my little bug..whenever she hears the word “MALAYSIA”, she already thinking of sandy beaches and hotel stays…I havent quite decided how the plan would be coz like i mentioned it all depends on my condition but if possible we would like to go somewhere for a short break before we start our penang hibernation at my mom’s place. H too would be around coz he has a conference in KL so little bug could be her dad’s tour guide…(kononnya)!!!
I have come to realize how difficult it can be if u dont share the same citizenship with ur kid…which makes me more certain going back home to have peabean could all be worthwhile after all . First visa length, since i am planning to stay alittle over 4 mths, bug would have a probelm coz under social visa, all Japanese r onli allowed to stay for 3 mths. so i was informed by Msian embassy in Tokyo that there is a procedure known as “child of citizen” where i could apply once in Msia and extend her visa up to 6 mths. Or of course the option of bringing her out to Thailand or Spore…but given my condition, i dont think that would be possible…When i finally called the Msian Immigration in Putrajaya, as usual no one picked up the darn phone…and so i called Penang State immigartion…and after much “tis and tat”, he said it could be done…but he kept saying “rugilah u coz u msian tapi anak punya malaysian”…–yea yea..like i dont know alreadi…rub it on…kekeke…
The next issue is flight tickets..to buy a open ticket it so darn expensive so we thought of booking 1 way ticket for bug and me with MAS. But we were informed by the travel agency that MAS refused to sell us 1 way ticket for bug coz she was leaving on a Jap passport. So H called up japanese immigration side and they confirmed that its not a probelm when we exit Japanese but aint too sure abt Msian law..Thus again i had to call Msian Immigration and was told it was not a probelm too…so i was wondering wat the heack was MAS probelm. So I called MAS HQ in Tokyo and spoke to one of the customer service person adn she had all that taken care of …So its clear now, whether its Japanese or Malaysia, we can leave/exit JPn with 1 way ticket and gain entry to Msia. Upon arrival, i need to get my parents/family to sponsor aina to stay longer than 3 mths…
while doing tat, i might even inquire abt PR for her…coz i was told tats possible too…no need hassle like now…afterall its just a matter of submitting forms…
u could’ve bought the cheapest fixed return ticket (valid for 7 or 10 days?), cancel it later and then buy a 1 way ticket from Msia (got mine for RM632 all-inclusive).
anyway, bestnya duduk Msia lama! if I balik kampung while u’re still there, maybe we can meet up! take care!
Oh yea..we finally managed to iron out all the complications (i think) so would do so too…buying the cheapest 1 way ticket ..i think its around 8man from KX-KL (MAS) on aug 8 and lepas tu plan to beli dari msia…but alittle scaring jugalah kan coy…hope things goes as planned…which most likely it wont i think…as usual…just keepinng all my fingers cross…
